the city that never sleeps

Finally back in New York, finally set up with internet, and finally ready to get back to blogging. Moving in this city has proven to be just as difficult as I'd ever heard it to be. But I'm home now and couldn't be happier!

When I did finally get a chance to catch up with blogs/models, I found this lovely ed from Numero of beautiful Frida G, my favorite Scandinavian export right after daim and dala horses.

Whitney Port

Whitney can be hit or miss for me, I either really like her outfits or just think everything doesn't match enough. This outfit is fabulous though from the green coat with snaps, snakeskin boots, and the grey sweater that seems to be just the perfect length. Fingers crossed for more good outfits Whit.

Louis Vuitton pre fall 2010

The inspiration is said to be finding old and beautiful clothes in your grandmother's attic. I'm not sure if my grandmother ever owned furry legwarmers but I can say that if I found any of this in her attic I would take it home with me. Some of the styling looks borderline Burberry, a new direction for Vuitton. I can't wait to see what f/w 2010 holds for the house.

Born to be wild

Sigrid Agren is quickly becoming one of my favorite models. She has one of the most beautiful faces and a classic appeal with her blond hair and simple features. Not to say that every other model isn't gorgeous but to me Sigrid does not look too dramatic and for that I adore her. This shoot was for Numero May 2009, can't wait to see more of her next month!

Tell me when you hear my heart stop

This black dress was given to me by my dear friend and designer Michael Lopez. The dress was Balmain inspired, and has a beauitful exposed zipper in the back and of course lovely little shoulder pads. While it is quite short in the back it manages to (barely) cover my butt with lots of adjustments nessecary, but that is something I am ok with.

One of my resolutions for this year is to update my blog more often, and continue to grow readership/content. Happy New Years children!
